With a unique and collected view of the modern South, owners Karla Pruitt and Sarah Howell focus on merging the rich, timeless culture of the South with the renewed interest of uniquely Southern design. The result is a line featuring a soft, fresh color palette with products that merchandize beautifully.
Helmsie products are thoughtfully and purposefully created with both adults and littles in mind. At Helmsie, you will find products filled with whimsy and joy that the modern momma (or dad!) would be proud to have in their home. Helmsie’s collection boasts of unique sets of hand drawn flashcards, fine art prints and posters, and their popular "Mama and Me" line. In addition, their brand new "Mama and Me" sippy cup and mug set, accessories line and floor puzzle.

About the owners :
Sarah lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Nicholas, their sons, Helms and Lewis, and Goodie the Lab. An engineer turned entrepreneur, she manages all things business and jewelry for the brand, while collecting a small town’s worth of vintage jewelry on the side. Karla lives in Athens, GA with her husband, Joseph, their daughter, Lucie and Okie the Corgi. A well-established designer, Karla specializes in creating repeat patterns that rely on a hand-drawn aesthetic.
